The Teamwork assessment measures a person’s skill in choosing behaviors
and/or actions that simultaneously support relationships within a team
and lead toward the accomplishment of work tasks. The video scenes and
questions are based on the actual demands of the workplace and show
individuals in various workplace settings. Test takers must recognize
the goals of a team and identify ways to reach those goals in
increasingly complex situations, such as those where the resources
needed to accomplish a given task are not readily available.
The assessment contains multiple-choice questions at four levels of
complexity with Level 6 being the most complex. Although Level 3 is the
least complex, it still assesses a level of teamwork skill well above no
skill at all. The levels build on each other by incorporating the skills
assessed at the preceding levels. This two-part assessment contains 12
scenes, each followed by three questions.
NOTE: Actual scripts focus on a much wider range of workplace
situations than those included in the examples at each level and include
additional factors such as nonverbal cues.
